St. Petersburg SF: Fleming/Hutchins d. Čermák/Polášek 6-4 6-4
The British pair follow up on their quarter-final appearances at Wimbledon and the US Open by reaching their first ATP tour final as a team.
Hutchins, 26, has previously seen tour-level success with Australian Stephen Huss, winning titles in Beijing in 2008 and Montpellier in 2010. Fleming, 27, has also won two tour-level titles, both with former partner Ken Skupski, one of which was the 2009 edition of the same St. Petersburg tournament he's currently playing in.
Hutchins & Fleming form part of a British setup which is currently showing an abundance of doubles specialists. Jamie Murray has won two tour-level titles this year, while the team of Jonathan Marray/Jamie Delgado and Ken Skupski have both had success on the challenger tour in 2011.
Should Hutchins & Fleming win their final on Sunday, they will move inside the top 20 of the doubles team rankings.
