I never think Fyrstenberg/Matkowski could win a GS so i go for Melzer/Petzschner. Doubles specialist vs singles players who play doubles

Re: WWW US Open Final - Melzer/Petzschner v. Fyrstenberg/Matkowski

hopefully melzer and petzschner

they have been playing so well here this week, and i really dont want a team that only decides to play well once a year to get a grand slam

Instead you would prefer two singles players that have only played 20 events together?

Peter Polansky
Nestor - Chvojka - Pospisil - Raonic - Peliwo

they might not have played many events together but they have won a couple of titles this year, got close to defending their wimbledon title, and have been very impressive here and they have a grand slam already

they do both, its not like they are 2 singles players that walked in playing this as their first event together

philipp and jurgen are both better and have achieved more success in their doubles careers then their singles careers anyway..maybe its time they considered becoming doubles specialists
