Looked great out there, loved the way Fog implemented the 'return and volley' technique on a couple of points

Saw only the last game. Weird to see Bolelli looking clutch and they didn't even celebrate, as if it was a expected routine win.

Third tournament they are playing togheter. They won in Umag, made final somewhere I don't remember and now? Such a great team.

They made semifinal in Rome, first tournament played together entering as wc.
In Rome's QF Bole/Fog betaed Lindstedt/Tecau, their next opponents in UO, 6-2 6-1!

Lindstedt said after that match it was the best tennis he has ever faced. Also thought Bolelli was sort of wasting his career and should be higher ranked in singles than he is.

But this time they won't be surprised by that doubles team and the match will be close.

Fabio really won this match, great returning and some great volleys from him. Having watched them now it seems Simone is the unpredictable firecracker player who can hit amazing shots out of nowehere and he's the better server of the two, and Fabio is the more solid of the two but still has his usual flash as well.

X-Man was terrible and Knowles' serve was destroyed.

The court speed is going to make it really difficult for anyone to beat these two. They can just grip and rip groundstrokes and returns. If they can maintain decent consistency they should have a big shot at winning the title.

Yup, Lindstedt/Tecau will have their hands full next match. They're struggling with the slower surface and their play has been everything but convincing thus far.

Lindstedt even joked on his blog that they might aswell book their plane tickets home because they're facing Bolelli/Fognini. He also wrote that he had problems with his back making his serving weaker, which isn't a good sign going forward.

I think it's gonna be pretty close though, 60/40 in favor of the Italians.
