His foot is still not right The off season can't come soon enough I don't think. He needs a prolonged period of rest.

Troicki - Djokovic - Del Potro - Kyrgios - Berankis
Cibulkova - Robson - Kirilenko - Azarenka
Retired but always loving Ferrero - Ancic - Kiefer

Re: Viktor's North American Hard Courts Cheering Thread!

But why doesn't he take some weeks off then? It could also be a lack of form, because he does finish his matches.
Maybe he is fully fit but still a bit scared too go flat out.
Thought his win against Luczak was nice, but losing quite big to Benneteau is pretty bad.

He does play Davis Cup next week, hope the 2,5 weeks off did him well.

Bah we need a new thread for indoors

But Viktor is playing Davis Cup as the star. If he loses any matches to Uzbekistan, then

Troicki - Djokovic - Del Potro - Kyrgios - Berankis
Cibulkova - Robson - Kirilenko - Azarenka
Retired but always loving Ferrero - Ancic - Kiefer

Istomin will be the tough one as he went deeper in USO this year than both Viktor and Janko. But Viktor, as #1 from Serbia , will play him after doubles so hopefully, no pressure. As long as he wins the opening rubber

If he wins the opener and the doubles, then hopefully Ilija will play Istomin

This is sad if we are worrying about ISTOMIN

I hope this 2 weeks or so of rest have helped the foot, the back, and whatever else is wrong with this boy.

Troicki - Djokovic - Del Potro - Kyrgios - Berankis
Cibulkova - Robson - Kirilenko - Azarenka

OK, Istomin had a lucky draw and that's why he's into the 3rd round in USO. No big deal defeating a nobody Evans and totally exhausted Nico!

Janko and Viktor should have absolutely no problem vs him.
