Heh, probably. With my luck he'll be put opposite one of my other faves. Yeah, that would be fun.

And yes, this is a big deal! Thank heavens it was finally comfirmed, I was utterly nervous back here.

Re: the AMER DELIC thread !!!!

Good to see him get through here
That's one less decent player I need to worry about during qualifying

It's ok... I'll likely do something embarrassing to take the pressure off
ahh Mr Delish. I wonder if he still qualifies as "The better looking, less talented Federer" that we thought he was in January 2005 Time will tell

If you guys want to pass on any well wishes/ messages of good luck type of stuff (how good is my English!!) feel free to do so. Just pm the stuff and I'll pass it on. But... how do I say Amer? "a-MARE?" Like... my horse is a mare? Its so much easier to say delish (delicious).

I haven't heard that one yet. Delic has a stronger serve and I like his backhand better because he comes over it and hits through it more than Fed. But yes, time will tell indeed.

Re: the AMER DELIC thread !!!!

Thanks Deb!
*~kat and I were watching him play Alex Bogomolov in Adelaide 2005, and we kind of decided he looked a bt like Roger, only hotter...and without the #1 next to his name. He seemed talented and well-behaved on court, so he's alright by me

Oh...and, he wore the sleeveless shirt well. But you guys know that already. Ahh I sound like a hormonal pubescent girl Tennis will be here in a few days

he can get fiesty (hence why I like him much more than Roger), definitely. His mental "instability" of sorts is why he hasn't had more success than he has had to date, unfortunately. He also yells at himself a lot, it's cute. He'll play one incredible point followed by one really awful one. It's just the way he is right now, I hope he can get a coach that will help him with that and the focus and stuff
