Well done, Kei!!
I tried to stay up for the match, but it was from 2 a.m. and although usually I'm a night person, lack of sleep the whole week (partly because of Kei's marathon against Ward!) got me.
Anyway, I hope Kei will win the title!
But Sweeting seems to be playing very well. He recently won the USTA playoff for RG WC, and his ranking is approaching top 100.
According to Kei's blog, he also expects a tough match. Although it will be their first meeting, they know each other since the junior day and know each other's game very well. Sweeting is a big server and has very good strokes, Kei says.
Apparently he didn't have to do much in today's match because Sirianni made many errors. Apparently there was a long rally early in the second set, and after Kei won the point, it was pretty much straightforward, he wrote.
I'm glad Kei had two comfortable wins after that marathon match in the second round.
