After a long break, I'm happy to see kei's continuous progress. Today it must have been hard for Kei to fight against his friend, Tatsuma Ito,

Kei updates his blog everyday. If you want to know how he is doing, you can visit:
http://blog.keinishikori.com/index.html

It's Japanese but if you copy his blog and paste in Google translation ( http://translate.google.com/# ), you can have some idea. Kei writes well. Despite Google's poor translation, you might enjoy his blog.

From Nishikori's blog on April 20 about the match against Jesse Levine: (translation by Google)

Won the first round.
6-7 6-3 (5) 7-6 (3)
Was a very dangerous game.
Still working on my tennis despite
Was still a decent tennis can be.
Katta 5-4 6-3 I serve my capture enough of the provider.
Second set, but I just lost it in the tie-break
I think the third set and survived well.
Keep on keeping not quite break
Chance to break opponent's serve ace despite Dattari
I could not take a play I've been pretty good, too.
The final tie-break was able to play calm.
It was great to win anyway.
Were overdue for a losing game.

2 weeks and topped the first round is huge.
And the other one so the top 100 players
Leads to confidence!
Arms somehow okay.

Tomorrow is a holiday in the second round Wednesday.
Ito opponent players
The other tricky but once again my friend
I'll try.

Re: Kei's come back trail continues in Tallahassee!

Kei lost 2-6 4-6...
Looks like his serve was not a factor at all, according to those following SB.

His ranking should go up to about 640 though.

Better luck on clay in Savannah, Kei!

Lost a tough one tonight. The tank was empty. Overall two good weeks....6 matches in a row, some good wins, and actually starting to work on my game instead of worrying about my injuries. I love it. Back to Bradenton in the morning and giving the body some rest over the weekend.
Have a good rest, Kei!
