Kei this morning courtesy of Twitter by a Wilson staff in Tokyo.
The rackets Kei used as a child. From the same Twitter.
From left: HyperHammer5.3, which Kei used as a fourth grader of primary school; HyperHammer6.3, which he used as a fifth grader; and HyperHammer5.2, with which he won All Japan Junior Championship. It was around this time that his Wilson rackets started having his first name engraved. And then H Tour which he was using when he turned pro.
The rackets are currently displayed in the Wilson booth at the Ariake Stadium, where the WTA Toray Panpacific Open is being held. The display will continue during Japan Open next week.
Apparently the first 5,000 people to visit the booth during the tournament will receive a free Kei uchiwa (a type of Japanese fan). http://plixi.com/p/47740282
