Hi Bunny, do you know of any sites that shows Kei's upcoming scheduled/tournaments?
I'm not sure if any players post these and I couldn't find anything on his official website... Anyone have any information about the next 2 or 3 tournie Kei has committed to?

Re: Kei's news thread

Kei will return in Halle, where he will also play doubles with Berlocq.
He didn't enter Eastbourne this year.
After Wimbledon, he will play New Port and possibly Atlanta, then he will go to the London Games.

It was a pity he couldn't play RG to show what he learned in South America, but I hope he's rested well enough to carry on the rest of the busy season without any physical problem!

Re: Kei's news thread

He entered Atlanta as an early commitment, so he will play Atlanta more certainly than Newport.

From his blog:
He will most probably play Halle. Not 100% pain free yet, but not getting worse either-improving. His serve is back about 50%.

Re: Kei's news thread

I can't wait to see him play either but I have a feeling we may have to wait a bit longer after reading his blog entry for today.
He's still in two minds whether he should play Halle or not. He wants to play of course, especially when he thinks about Wimbledon, but then he doesn't want to aggravate the injury... he says he can now serve but he still feels stiffness and pain on the following day. He cited how he felt when his elbow injury was almost healed, and how frustrating and scary that was.

Hope he'll make a wise decision and won't push himself too hard too soon.

Re: Kei's news thread

Good news!

Kei will fly to London on Saturday.
He wrote in his blog he will play an exhibition near London on Tuesday, I think he means the Boodles Challenge.

Apparently he was abled to practice without any pain the past three days. He's not sure the injury is completely healed (which I think is a worry), but he's relieved and very much motivated.

Let's hope he will stay fit for the rest of the season!

Since I wrote the above post, the exhibition bit has been deleted from his blog. Maybe his place was taken by Murray at the Boodles??

Re: Kei's news thread

Kei is now practicing on Court 1 of IMG Academy, probably with Nishioka. (There's live feed on the academy's website).

Re: Kei's news thread

Nalbandian's tantrum at Queen's cost Kei a ranking place.
Since Cilic won, he surpassed Kei in the rankings this week. Kei is ranked #20.

Re: Kei's news thread

So it's at Hurlingham Club Kei is playing.
Think he replaced Tsonga.

He will play Hewitt today and Fish on Wednesday.
Will be his first match since Barcelona. Hope he feels ready!

Re: Kei's news thread

Does anyone know who won at the exhibition in Hurlingham, Nishikori or Hewitt?
