Yeah he played the Open 13 quallies but lost to Haehnel. However, this week he tries to qualify for the Besancon challenger. He is already in the 2nd round of the quallies where he meets Jan Mertl of the Czech Republic. Allez Jo !

And he won
He beat Mertl 6-3 6-2 and will play Massimo Dell'Acqua for a place in the MD. Bonne chance

Re: Jo-Wilfried Tsonga! Alias "Jo Jo" (the Manceau deserves his own thread!)

Joey seems to be in good shape: he won the Great Britain F5 in Bath
His route to the title:
1st round: def. Lee Childs 6-1 6-2
2nd round: def. Andrey Golubev 7-6(5) 6-2
quarters: def. Jesse Huta-Galung 2-6 6-3 6-2
semis: def. Nicolas Tourte 6-1 6-3
final: def. Michael Ryderstedt 6-3 6-2

Good work, Jo-Wilfried !!!!
