Re: The Asian Swing 2009

70% of first serve till now. Not too bad. It's more the 64% of first serve won which is unusual.

This serve game seemt to be a lot easier. Maybe, he wasn't serving very fast.

Re: The Asian Swing 2009

70% of points won on first serve now and an easy game. The problem with the serve seems to be solved now. But he needs to crack on Zverev's serve now.

Allez Jo, break him now !

0/15

Yes, I am talking not about percents but about quality:
Usually it is very hard to take his serve but in Troicki's match (2&3 sets) and now deuce is most useful word for umpire.

Re: The Asian Swing 2009

First set Jo: 6/4

The toughest is yet to come though.

His problem right now is a fatigue one. He needs to win this match quickly if he wants to go far at Tokyo. And he has many point to take in the 500 category.

Re: The Asian Swing 2009

I am not worried for the eventual match against Richard. If jo is fit and determined, I don't think Richard has what it takes at the moment for troubling him. Eventhough, OK, it's a big if.

Re: The Asian Swing 2009

Done ! 6/4, 6/3

A good match to come with Richard/Jo. I give Jo favourite with the form and the surface advantage. Anyway, the draw seems open for either of them after that match.

May the better player on the day win !
