Re: Gilles Simon

Gosh, bad loss again, one hour only against Haase...
Tulasne said he wouldn't play Dubai even if he loses early in Zagreb, but maybe he'll try to scratch another first round win to secure his seeding for the AMS since it seems so important to him.

Re: Gilles Simon

I just realized my post yesterday was not very well put. Tulasne said he won't play Dubai, period. The second part was just me "thinking out loud", he most probably won't play, don't worry.

(But in general, he seems to be the kind of guy who plays every week unless he's injured. He had even asked for a WC at the Bergamo Challenger before he was picked for the Davis Cup. For a Frenchie, he plays quite a lot!)

Re: Gilles Simon

He's also on the entry list of the Sunrise Challenger between IW and Miami, but he already was last year and pulled out, I doubt he will play.

thanks Truc (as always).
I hope he will not play in Dubai because I think than now a week of training is important to be physically ready for American MS

Re: Gilles Simon

Good decision by Gilles

I like the girlfriend, she looks sweet. I always hate the players who get the snotty little bitch girlfriends, like Mardy Fish.

Re: Gilles Simon

If Lalo wins today, I think Gilles will need a withdrawal to be seeded in IW. So it's been a nice run, Feli, but it's enough now.

(Although I do think Gilles deserves a little punishment for his Zagreb "performance"...
But Lalo really would be too much to take for me.)

So Gilles probably won't be seeded?
