Well, back on serve. Maybe he's going to keep his sanity after all. Talking to himself during changeover...

Re: 2013 Spring US Hardcourts, Allez!

He needs to try some BHDTL passing shots, Lorenzi is mounting at the ad side to wait for his passing shot now.

Not unprofessional. Unprepared. It's like he's not sufficiently warmed up and raring to go. He's flat and real lackadaisical. He should be in or as close to the zone from the start and not playing this good one moment terrible the next charade. He's too good for this to be the norm now for him. Not to mention he needs to play as little as possible in the opening rounds that should be easier so he has more left and isn't tired or hurting by the later rounds now that he's getting older. It's just disappointing to see this scenario keep happening.

Seeing that he's a slow starter, and if the problem is just insufficient warm up, and he hasn't rectify that, that's quite unprofessional to me, or it's plain stupid to not realize that is the problem.

Well, I don't know what it is, I think slow start is a mental problem, just like those chokers, just the nerve comes at different ends of the match. Just my opinion though, I'm no authority here.

Now Gilles just needs to step it up now. F**king annoying that he's still not able to put Lorenzi away. In fact, I'm finally getting a bit nervous that he may actually lose.

broken right away in the 3rd. So much for easy draw, my bad for even suggesting that.

Re: 2013 Spring US Hardcourts, Allez!

If Gilles does end up losing this match, it's going to be a pretty hard pill for me to swallow. Again, I keep going back to his match with Del Potro and seeing how good he's still capable of playing and then to see him still playing like this in matches is beyond infuriating.

Lorenzi is looking like a confident player, Gilles...not so much.
