Re: Winter 2012 Australian Season

Srsly, Gilles
Broken when serving for it. Hit like 5 UEs in this game, I think he didn't have 5 UEs the whole set until this game.

I think Udomchoke is hoping you win it sooner to put him out of his misery. Or just win it sooner to put yourself out of this misery.

Re: Winter 2012 Australian Season

So he won. It's ugly but it's still a win. He gets a chance to play prettier next time.

A tough opening round in a slam for Gilles, what's new! We can only hope that he gets more and more into form the deeper he gets into the tournament.

Re: Winter 2012 Australian Season

Like in the USO the neck injury gives him a poor first round to play. He's not ready and play 5 sets which is not good when you want to go deep in the tournament

After reading your monologue lala, my decision to stay in bed was the right one. I couldn't have handled this on scoreboard while searching for a working stream.

It really shouldn't have been this difficult to beat Udomchoke . Gillou you're so much better than he .

I survived Gilles' match, I don't know how I managed that.
And 2 days later, I'll probably have to find a way to do it all over again. Allez!

Re: Winter 2012 Australian Season

Lala, I should have checked here earlier today. I was cheering for Gilles while all my (Thai) friends were for Danai. Anyway, the good takeaway, besides the win, it seems that Gilles' fitness is in its top form. He didn't seem tired at all.

Re: Winter 2012 Australian Season

Thank god for that! He won. I'm just going to ignore the score. His compatriot Benny is next, who is in good form, not a recipe for success for Gilles really. Hopefully he will find some form, if not, last him out in the Aussie heat ALLEZ!

Thanks for the memories... Andy Roddick.
