Re: The Grass is Always Greener on Gilou's Court - 2011

I got excited then and though Stoke Park was actually in Stoke! In which case it's not too far from me. But I was wrong and it's way down south, further than London. I could have gone if I didn't have exams, maybe next year. (I didn't even know this exho existed in the uk!)

If anyone's interested the OOP is up already:
MATCH 1 - 14.30 START:
Sam Querrey (USA) v Gael Monfils (FRA)

MATCH 2: To follow
David Nalbandian (ARG) v Gilles Simon (FRA)

MATCH 3: To follow
Richard Gasqust v To be confirmed

Gilles Simon
Dimitrov • Mahut • Paire • Hewitt • Raonic • Berdych • Gulbis • Murray

Thanks for the memories... Andy Roddick.

Gilles was on the OOP for the 14th when I checked the site yesterday. But he's not on the OOP anymore. Maybe he pulled out? Not good, I hope his back is okay for next week.

Re: The Grass is Always Greener on Gilou's Court - 2011

Well, he's now on OOP for tomorrow:

Order of Play
15 Jun 2011
Match 1 - 14.30 Start:
Gilles Simon (FRA) v Juan Martin Del Potro (ARG)

Match 2:
David Ferrer (ESP) v Fernando Verdasco (ESP)
Match 3:
Alexander Dolgopolov (UKR) v Viktor Troicki (SRB)

Ok, I guess I don't usually pay attention to exo so I don't know if this is the norm, but it's funny that they keep changing the OOP and then the players. Now Dolgo is here since he lost so early in Eastbourne. Why don't they just say whoever feels like a practice will show up and play, would be fun for the fans to guess who will show up for the day .

I never pay attention either does seem a bit odd, i'm just relieved he's back! Really worried that his injury had got worse.

The seedings for Wimby are out:
1 Rafael NADAL (ESP) [1]
2 Novak DJOKOVIC (SRB) [2]
3 Roger FEDERER (SUI) [3]
4 Andy MURRAY (GBR) [4]
5 Robin SODERLING (SWE) [5]
6 Tomas BERDYCH (CZE) [6]
7 David FERRER (ESP) [7]
8 Andy RODDICK (USA) [8]
9 Gael MONFILS (FRA) [9]
10 Mardy FISH (USA) [10]
11 Jurgen MELZER (AUT) [11]
12 Jo-Wilfried TSONGA (FRA) [12]
13 Viktor TROICKI (SRB) [13]
14 Stanislas WAWRINKA (SUI) [14]
15 Gilles SIMON (FRA) [15]
16 Nicolas ALMAGRO (ESP) [16]
17 Richard GASQUET (FRA) [17]
18 Mikhail YOUZHNY (RUS) [18]
19 Michael LLODRA (FRA) [19]
20 Florian MAYER (GER) [20]

I think this is his highest ranking in a slam since US open 09. Let's pray for a kind draw!!
