His match resumes tomorrow 2nd match after a ladies' single, hopefully the ladies will be quick and he'll finish his in 4 by end of tomorrow (heard the forecast ain't that good tomorrow either). Allez Gilles.

Yes, I forgot to type the word "all outside courts". I hope ppl who's been watching Murray on TV didn't turn it off thinking that it was cancelled .

Murray's been considerate, knowing that all other matches were cancelled, he lost the first set to prolong the match so we all got to watch more tennis .

More lucky for the 17k people who have paid good money to watch tennis!

But utterly shit that his match isn't on the big screen on Murray Mound - due to "health and safety" reasons!!!

I hope he puts his happy hat on tomorrow. he was so moody mt frechis crap but i made out some of it. There were some frenchies by me in fits of laughter. He wante# to stop because of the rain before the umpire and had a rant and tutu was making hand gestures to try to get him to shut up. In the end he marched to his chair and wouldn't play then it got suspended. I get his concern with his knee but he was a bit crazy today I heard someone in the crowd say they thought he lost the plot. It was an absolute mugfest

Re: The Grass is Always Greener on Gilou's Court - 2011

Thanks Tori, for your report.

Gilles' been very grumpy these days, even for his standard. Don't know what's going on with him, I suspect he's a bit burnt out. I doubt he'll be in any better mood tomorrow though if weather continues to be crappy as his mood. Honestly, I won't feel all that surprise if he doesn't last long in this tournament. But I do think if he loses quickly, may not be a bad thing, at least it will get him some more rest physically and more importantly, mentally. Then again, the match is in his grasp, he better don't let go of it tomorrow .

Thanks for the report

Can't help but laugh at the descriptions of him being grumpy. i'm already not expecting much from this tourney, as long as he doesn't go out R1. I think he just needs to sort himself out mentally, i'm sure he did an interview a while back saying he felt he can't push any further or something, that always worried me.

Re: The Grass is Always Greener on Gilou's Court - 2011

I think he's just frustrated with his own tennis but being so vocal about it doesn't seem to help him at all he just misses more.

I will upload some more pics later although they are all shitty and blurry but I think this one pretty much summed up his afternoon.

Thanks for the pic.

Ah, yes. Picture tells a thousand words, your picture is loud and clear. Gilles
He played like crap for the past few matches, I'm not sure he can get over his own frustration any time soon. But I do hope that he sleeps well tonite and maybe he'll stay calm tomorrow and finish the match with a better attitude.

If you'd seen him you would have been too scared to hug him lol. I was going to take a picture of him when he was down on his ass and he gave me a really filthy look so I didn't dare

So far I have never gotten a glare of doom from him, one that I know off at least, cause when I'm taking pics I just snap away and notice the looks later on.
It does sound scary, but I'd still hug him. I guess his mother taught him to be nice to girls.

he's just very expressive. His body language was very don't piss me off yesterday.

Just hope he pulls out the win today he should not be losing that match. Gilles does look very huggable bless him.
