Re: The LUCKY Eastbourne and Wimbledon Grass Season comeback thread

I dont think it matters what court the favorites play on since alot of them had to fight tooth and nail today ex: davydenko, federer and djokovic

and some of them couldnt pull it out ex: wawrinka, cilic and robredo

If this trend continues tommorrow i might not like the result for gillou, i just hope he would be one of the seeds to tought it out

Re: The LUCKY Eastbourne and Wimbledon Grass Season comeback thread

He says in L'Equipe he doesn't know Alcaide, but it's not that much of a problem in best of 5 matches, he has more time to analyze the game of the opponent. He's more focused on himself atm anyway, he says he's still a bit worried because of his knee and also because his body is aching all over.

Re: The LUCKY Eastbourne and Wimbledon Grass Season comeback thread

Still haven't found a stream

Gillou has an early break, that'll be good for his confidence () Allez!

Good he's resisting attempts to jinx him. 3-0

33 mins 1st set 6-3. no DFs, 9 winners to 4 UEs, 44% 1st serve. Gillou's on fire

2 love service holds for Alcaide but Gillou seems to be struggling more on serve

Commentator's curse. Gillou holds to love then breaks him 3-2. Allez!!!

Re: The LUCKY Eastbourne and Wimbledon Grass Season comeback thread

No stream here either but on ES live commentary thingy, they say he's not playing that well, Alcaide's UEs have made most of the job so far. But then again, it's ES (they already got the score wrong in the second set, Alcaide went from 3-2* to *2-2 then 2-3*! haha).

Anyone watching Serena vs Banshee de Brito? it's deafeningly hilarious.

Is this Gilles' first 7-0 tiebreak?
