I think he just complained that the pain never gives him any respite, that it never gets better at least for a short time when he screamed in the middle of the game.

*sigh*

The only good thing is that we don't have to watch him play another match in pain.

I hope the day of him playing painfree will come soon. I can't take it much anymore.

Rest well Gilles.

If it's up to me, I think he should skip the clay season all the way to maybe RG. I don't know, I really don't want to think him sliding on that knee. It's just too mentally exhausting to have to endure pain all the time while playing, and he already done it for like 9 months, I'm exhausted watching him doing that.
It's really a bit heartbreaking to have to see him dealing with this for so long with no ending in sight for this injury.

well, me neither, however long it takes. But the problem is and has been that he didn't think he has to take more time off, it just seem it's always up to him and you can be sure he will just play on regardless of how much pain he's in. Is there a doctor out there authoritative enough to take the decision off Gilles' hand and decide for him what his strategy should be to combat his injury?

Although he insists that the doctor said playing won't make it worse, I really am not so convinced. How can this not have any long term effect on the body if the knee is injured for such long duration? I don't know, I just hope he's right and this is not going to jeopardize his career in the long run.
