Re: Allez Gillou! - *testing my luck for IW & Miami*

Did I ever mention I don't like IW and Miami? These 2 tourneys both took up 2 weeks and we only really get to see any action in the late first weekend. Gilles' match on saturday, probably early in the morning, they seem to like making him wake up very early.

Gosh, I'm impatient.

Good luck Gilles! He has a good draw to win a match and then we will see. Would love for him to have another crack at federer though. Maybe playing his bitch Roger would give him the confdence boost he needs.

So he plays Horatio in R2. Think that will be quite entertaining, if the St Petersburg final is anything to go by He's not on the OOP for tomorrow.

Re: Allez Gillou! - *testing my luck for IW & Miami*

Tulasne comments a little bit on his tournament in Sunrise today in L'Equipe and doesn't mention the knee at all:
"Big fight from the baseline against Gasquet in the first round, a snatched victory over Starace, really, really great match against Giraldo in the SF, a Columbian newcomer who beat Robredo in Melbourne" - and then the final lost to Mayer: "Gilles let it get on his nerves a little bit. He's not like Jo who can take confidence from having a good feeling in training. He needs good results to feel confident. That's why it was so important for him to win matches. But it's a bit tough physically, he feels pain in the shoulder, the abs, the thigh. Pretty much everywhere... It's still fragile, but the stopover at Sunrise has been very beneficial."

Re: Allez Gillou! - *testing my luck for IW & Miami*

Thanks Fran, for the news and translate.

He lets thing get on his nerves far too often these days, me think he needs anger management .

We'll find out tomorrow how much he benefited from Sunrise. Fingers cross for a good match...scrap that, who cares about good match , as long as he wins .

I'm nervous. And the commentator is already getting on my nerve (he paused after every 3 words) .

Allez Gilles.
