LOL. Yes, that indeed is all that matters.

I love your spirit, Les. Cheers to Gillou for a good slam outing on the lawn. It's been an up and down season so far, well, more downs than ups. But it's good that he has done slightly better in 3 slams and 4 out of the 5 TMS so far. Baby steps, nonetheless, he is improving if we put things into that perspective. He is climbing up the learning curve, kind of.

Re: 2009 Grass Season ~ cheering Poussin vs Mosquito next

Seems like I got to watch the many versions of Gilles Simon this week, ah well, I'm all for variety.

Today I was offered 'Grumpy Gilles', as I like to call him when he's moody. It was a bit disappointing since he got off to such a great start but JCF was really making him play and I agree with where others had said that a lot of this victory is a case of 'too good' from him.

I'm satisfied with his overall performance at Wimbledon, especially since he is carrying this knee injury that affects such a key part of his natural game. Hopefully his confidence will be fully back soon, as with his fitness.

I was probably one of those "French" supporters cheering, I hope my French accent actually sounded decent. Well I do get asked if I'm French (in French), so I suppose it works well enough.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

Poor Gillou He wasn't at the races today but he gave us a divine match against Hanescu, the shot of the tournament (that flick underhand down the line type thingy)

His interview in Lequipe:

I think it is the first time he is talking about Richard.

It doesn't surprise me, and the lukewarm support neither. They never seemed close, too different in their personalities, and I also like them for different reasons.

Pity because he was hitting the ball really well, especially in the first set, just that physical condition sucks really atm

what Im worried about is that the knee problem seems to get chronic

I don't see Karlovic making any headway with Fed despite his heavy artillery. I'm watching Djokovic - Haas. For now anyway!

Unfortunate end to his Wimbledon campaign but he did well especially considering he's carrying an injury. Rest up that knee Gillou

Go Andy! Vamos Rafa! Allez Gilles! C'mon Muzza!
