Well, it was encouraging and
at the same time.
His game is there, he's hitting the ball nicely imo, but he has terrible concentration lapses. He looked totally in control, should have won the first set 6-1, had his usual hiccups by taking his chances and serving it out, but well, it was OK.
But the second set... Malisse started playing better too, but Gilles totally lost the plot, he was mad because it was too loud (it was horribly loud indeed) and played crap. He regrouped just in time and Malisse helped A LOT, Gilles really was lucky to win in 2 sets!
If he keeps his head together, I think he does have a chance against Murray because he was playing well before he went
. Malisse was pretty poor, though.
He seems to still have a cold, keeps blowing his nose like in Rome.
