I'm happy because I want him to get better.

Re: Clay season 2008

In L'Equipe today:
Quote:
Gilles SIMON. – Toujours en délicatesse avec son dos, il n’est pas sûr de pouvoir jouer à Rome. Passé hier à Munich pour remplir ses obligations, il expliquait : « Je dois revoir le docteur mardi et reprendrai peut-être mercredi. »
His back is still bothering him and he isn’t sure to play in Rome. He was in Munich yesterday and said he will see the doctor today and *maybe* start practicing again on Wednesday then.

Awww I don't want him to miss Rome, but definitely not on the expense of his fitness

___

I'm like Scotso !! I prefer Gillou withdrawing and getting better, instead of cumulating first round exits..

Re: Clay season 2008

He has also entered Warsaw on clay after the French Open, I had totally forgotten about this event.
It will be a nice change to the usual first-round exit in Halle!

Re: Clay season 2008

Rome MS

link: http://www.internazionalibnlditalia.it/1/default.asp

Tomorrow the draw will be out at 12 a.m. (11 GMT)

Gillu you know is not a seeded player and it means he should be against of them in the first round also () Fortunately the first eight seeded players have a bye and so he'll avoid surely them. On the other hand Rome is the only MS on clay that American tennis players (who hate and are very bad on red clay ) use to play and so there's a possibility thanks to a lucky draw to take a good spot.
Obviously these thoughts shoul be useless if Gill didn't fell better but Tulasne, according to me, is not a stupid coach and I'm confident he has chosen the right thing for Gillu

Btw a friend of mine tomorrow will be there and I asked to him to assist to a Gilles training session. probably tomorrow night (that's morning for someone of you ) I can say somothing more about that

this year not started in a right way but I hope will change soon

faith...and good luck to Gillu

Re: Clay season 2008

Today Gillu was training in the early morning with a full beard on his face
Unfortunately he was on court at inconvenient time because now are training players more famous like Nole, Moya (), Kolya ()...
I hope he'll do another training session in the evening
