He had a bajillion breakpoints in that first game on RRH's serve, let's hope that's a good sign

Rough start.
I won't take a bagel, Gillou, wake up!

He won a game.

No, they never show Masters Series events on Eurosport.

Re: Clay season 2008

OMG, talk about a collapse after the never-ending first game where he had loads of BP. He's hardly winning a point at the moment apart from DF of RRH.

Re: Clay season 2008

Broken again in the 2nd set, it feels like the Cipolla one - even a bit worse.

We need a MAJOR choke job of RRH.

6-1 5-1 - at least it went over deuce for a change!

Re: Clay season 2008

He was almost broken to love in the last game.
Poor him, he's alreay had some bad collapses - but not against the likes of RRH!

Re: Clay season 2008

You're lucky! It was even worse than the scoreline suggests. Not even one hour for the whole match and about 15 minutes only for the first game.

We'll see if he mentions back problems again, I didn't notice any medical time-out by following the SB.

Re: Clay season 2008

I'm so shocked by his performance, I almost forgot I had a new interview of him to post!

I'll make a summary later.

Re: Clay season 2008

It's not that bad, really. He's honest about his poor start in 2008.

I hadn't paid attention first, btw, but he says in that interview that his back problems reappeared on Sunday during a training session with Marat.
