Re: Clay season 2008

He better get to play if he's ranked 4th. I'd be pissed.

I hope he will win enough matches by himself to be safe, this is going to make me nervous otherwise in RG. I think it's important to him to be in the French top 4. He always wants so badly to play in DC - at least here it's beyond Forget's control.
After a lot of this :retard: and this I finally realized that Halle points from 2007 will be dropped off. I was just thinking RG points from last year would be dropped off. Now Labamba's list makes more sense.

Gilles has gained 20 points so far this week that should help.

Here's the list (for anyone else who is interested):
The Race to Beijing Olympics 2008

Sorry for the confusion.

Re: Clay season 2008

Broken 3 times by Pashanski in the 1st set already, nice job, Gilles...

It's a joke, I saw Pashanski lose to Bennet in the qualies in Hamburg just before Gilles' match, no way Gilles should lose to him like that.

You almost jinxed him, Zahirah!
He's annoying the hell out of me today. I have no time for this, Gillou!

5-3 (after coming back from 15-40)

Re: Clay season 2008

Oh, he must be as fresh as a daisy after that clay season he had.
In his case, I don't mind he plays the week before RG. Gaël should rest imo, for example, but Gilles needs to get his game in gear.
And he needs the points for the Olympics too. He can do without the extra pressure of defending his spot in RG.

5-4, now serve it out pleasepleaseplease.

He can't win a game without saving a couple of BP today.
I have to work now, I want to see a breadstick next time I check the SB, Poussinet!

Re: Clay season 2008

I found Pashanski to be one of the worst players ever... granted I only ever saw him play on grass.

Still, Gilles should not be losing sets to him
