Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100

yes but what has he got to do to get there? QF or is winning a first round enough?

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100

Golubev lost so next: he will play Molchanov no:219

He has 6pts now, and if he wins his 3rd Q match: 12pts.

Losing 1st round in main draw gives no point.

Reaching 2nd round: 20

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100

he played qf in delray last year so he has 45 points to defend, final or winning the title would bring him back to top 100,finals wolud bring him around 90 and title around 70...

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100

He plays his last Q match at 11:00 tomorrow morning. He hates early start. But weather might not be too hot early.
Let's breath deep...

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100

After 2:30hrs of battle, Ernests prevailed over Molchanov 6-7, 7-5, 6-4

It was a breaking feast... E. was up a break serving for the 1st set...and lost his break and tye break with a DF.

He converted only 5bp on 14...needs to improve at this level.

E. had 11 aces and 4DF where Molchanov had 4aces and 11DF.

Soo let's see where they will put him on main draw. I presume they won't have him against Blake or Harrison both americains.

It leaves Anderson or Lu...

Hope he will have a day off to recuperate.

A lot of lower ranked players are unpredictable. That's probably why he didn't play well in the challengers he played earlier this year. Anyway, I'm so glad he won today!

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100

this is a valuable win because he didn't give up after first set which he was doing almost whole last year,he managed to stay on course after double faulting the first set,and he is finally winning against lower ranked players which is also something he couldn't do last year,it should boost his confidence because he had to fight but won eventually...

Re: Mission Possible: Getting Back to the Top 100

He could pass through Blake, I presume.

Schedule tomorrow not before 12:30pm. Stream for stadium.

Hope he has time to fully recovered from his 2:30 match today.
