Re: European Clay Court Season Cheering Thread!

It's still a bit early but is anyone else going to Roland Garros this year? I'm going with a Novak fan, but as soon as she'll see any Serbian on court - she'll leave me and my Ernie patrol duty It would be cool to hang out with a fellow EG fan. I'll be at tennis from Sunday until Tuesday.

Re: European Clay Court Season Cheering Thread!

I will continue to be completely supportive Yes its disappointing, but staying faithful to him is even more important during the hard times. Anyone can be judgemental sitting in a chair, following a scoreboard.

All I do know right now is that Ernests has no firm coach,he has little confidence in his serving, and is obviously very frustrated. And of course when he is in this kind of rut,its soul destroying, and we know he thinks a lot. I wait to find out what happened out there. I am sure the uncertainty surrounding his coaching situation isn't helping his preparations for matches, therefore affecting him on court.

And as a sidenote I wish the things he says were not twisted in a way to make people hate him when they know nothing about him,he says what he feels,he is honest. If he says he hates doing something,he still persists with doing them, because he has to for his job. If he has something to say he will say it in a definitive way, there is nothing sinister in anything he has said recently, but of course, people who know nothing about the life he leads, have to twist it to make him look like the bad guy, especially journalists who simply run with translations of articles and sensationalise them.

I feel very sorry for Ernests right now

Re: Good luck in your next tournament Ernests, always supporting you thru good and bad

Can someone please explain why he will be out of the top 60 next week? He didn't play Estoril, Belgrade or Munich last year so I am very confused!

Also, very sad loss he has a long way to go judging by the stats but I have faith he will get back up and have excellent results this year! To be honest it may be a good thing that he isn't seeded for Roland Garros he has never won a match when he was seeded...

Loves...Ernests Gulbis

Dinara Safina ~ Sorana Cirstea ~ Marin Cilic ~ Sabine Lisiki~ Philipp Kohlshrieber ~ Gilles Simon ~ Ryan Harrison ~ Gisela Dulko ~ Fernando Verdasco ~

Another 180 points (Madrid) will be dropped on 5/16...
