Having an Excellent Start of the Year 2010 - Withdrew from Miami Qualies

I think it's time to create a thread for the next season

Ernests will play in Doha first (he barely got in), the week after that he'll probably have to play qualifying at either Auckland or Sydney (or perhaps he'll just spend it practicing) and then he'll play the AO main draw

but I'm afraid that he's gonna wear yellow again like last year, he wore the blue one in the ad pics, but he just put on yellow shirts on court

Great title, Evita Hot, hot, hot..

I guess we're all hoping for a better season than last year.. But then again, that shouldn't be so hard to achieve, should it?

for 2010!

Re: Having a hot Australian season - The Tournament Thread

Nice thread title squeeeee!! I can't wait! Mainly cos im gonna see him (hopefully) but because of his rank he will most definetley be versing a top 10 player But, if he does what he says (practice, practice, practice!!!) I think he could really have a shot! I hope i will see him, and get some nice shots! Is anyone else going?

Re: Having a hot Australian season - The Tournament Thread

the entry lists of the week after AO were out and he's not in any of them. I think he wants to take a week off (actually, it'll be two if he lost early at AO ) before going to America. It will be better practicing there than playing one tournament in Europe, where he only has 20 points to defend

points to defend... this is not a good argument upon which to base any speculation, as he practically has no points to defend this year.

I hope Ernests thinks like you do. Im afraid that to him defending a first round = having virtually nothing to defend.
Anyway, it is not important what he has to defend: we (him included) should all focus on what he has to conquer

Re: Having a hot Australian season - The Tournament Thread

I am really worried i won't see ernests if he is playing like a top 10 player. Does anyone know like the cut off for how they put matches on Rod Laver Arena? I am really worried i will miss him
