Re: Ernests' news thread!

Woo he is here! Maybe he decided he was having such a good end of season run and his ranking isn't that high, so maybe he wanted to push it further for maybe a better draw at AO??

Loves...Ernests Gulbis

"I haven't seen Ernests but hes here" Wow. I would recomend you see Ernests with your own eyes before you say something with such confidence.

Re: Ernests' news thread!

Well, according to the news, Ernest has not even showed up in Paris and neither called to retreit from entry list...so Rodriguez gets a free past for next turn.

What a shame...he could have had a chance to play in this Master.
What is happening with him?

He's in vacation now, he just forgot that he signed up for qualifying in Bercy

Re: Ernests' news thread!

One thing I know about Ernests. He tends to forget important things so i'm not really suprised by this. Sad but not suprised. This is the kid who forgot to bring his rackets to tennis practice after all.

Oh Ernests *pats on top of his head* It's a really good thing you're cutier then a petshop full of puppies!

Hmmm, not sure about being that forgiving of him,he has to pay for his mistakes despite being cute and forgetful OK,its not a surprise but it doesn't make it right

Re: Ernests' news thread!

I know! I tend to say "Oh it's just Ernests being Ernests" but then I want to shake him and be like "Get yourself together! What is wrong with you?"

He will just have to pay whatever fine he gets and hopefuly gets himself together next year..Didn't Gumy know he was scheduled to play Paris? How does a player make a schedule for the year, doesn't he work it out with other members of his team or he just signs up by himself??

Re: Ernests' news thread!

He had a U.S. based agent Tom Ross of Octagon Agency,I know his name was mentioned when the mix up between Kooyong and Brisbane happened, but really Ernests ought to be ultimately responsible for his schedule and whether he adheres to it or not.

BTW I've been in GM simply to quote http://www.gotennis.ru/news/?p=29667 that was given to us by Nadia and her translation I hope no-one minds,I've been non-committal on this situation, its just not what he or we/fans who were attending Paris needed

BTW Serra won by default too today, when Ouahab didn't show!!

I remember Deivids was called as Ernests' "manager" in one of the sportacentrs articles

found it

I hope we won't be bashed much in GM I just don't like much that part of the forum

and Serra won the same way, indeed don't they check if the player arrived to the tournament or not?

Re: Ernests' news thread!

I just quoted a reliable source to explain Ernests had a planned timetable that didn't include any more tournaments - that was my only reason Normally I wouldn't have bothered. I don't go in to get too involved

Re: Ernests' news thread!

Not this time or... Its a scary thought that Deivids could belong to an Agency I'm just sooo curious the Latvian media decided to bestow such a title on him

Ernests should be electronically tagged I think
