I think it is interesting that they put "Mentalitätsproblem" between quotation marks. I guess that's really the word KH used. Also they didn't make it clear whose mentality problem it is, but I guess they can only be talking about ernie's attitude right?
I guess they were referring to Ernests, too.
Maybe Karl did not use that word, maybe he just talked in a roundabout way and they
chose to use that word, as they could not report a longer statement. But as Mentalitätsproblem could be seen as a word with a little bit "strong" meaning, they chose to put it between quotation marks, just to avoid troubles.
