but they won doubles

meanwhile Andis, as well as some other Latvians, takes part in Estonia F2 event in Tallinn hopefully our special correspondent will be back soon with some nice pictures

Update on Estonia F2 in Tallinn, Andis is the no 3 seed there.

1st round Andis defeated Vladimir Ivanov of Estonia 6-2 7-5
2nd round Andis defeated Jonas Luetjen of Germany 6-4 4-6 6-2

His quarter-final will be against Michael Ryderstedt of Sweden.

Janis Skoderis qualified for Estonia F2 but then lost to No 8 seed in 1st round of main draw 1-6 2-6.

Latvians aren't taking part in the doubles competition this week.

Andis is scheduled to play today at Tampere CH in Finland. His 1st round is against 4th seed Ivo Minar of Czech Republic.

Andis and Deniss team up once more,they are top seeded in Doubles. Their 1st assignment is against Miikka Kangas and Hannu Piiroinen of Finland.

I hope Andis is fully fit now. Good luck to he and Deniss this week
