below some reports from ATP and other sport sites

Croatian Marin Cilic won his third and fourth career ATP-level matches Friday, for a place in the semifinals against Lopez.

Re: Marin Cilic-new hope for croatian tennis

Awww, Marin

I have to admit, after 6-7 and 0-2 I felt it was over, but when I checked again later (I had to wash the car in the meantime ) it was one set all . He really has a strong head, so it seems from this week I'm sorry, I was lopking forward seeing him tomorrow in the final, but Umag is soon, hope he'll play good there, too and will improve the rankings even more

But you haven't seen this

Marin after yesterday's matches:

>>About this morning's match, it wasn't as good as the one in the afternoon, where I had to fight psychological tiredness more than physical. My physical condition didn't bother me that much cause I knew what was in stake. I didn't have that many problems in my first match like against Pavel, where my serve saved me, it got me a lot of free points. Of course, at the end of it I felt tired, but I managed to overcome it and win.

Re: Marin Cilic-new hope for croatian tennis

Marin after today's matches:

>>This is for sure the best week of my career, I've realized that I can become a really good player because I can compete with any player. This tournament will improve my rankings around 200, so I'll be able to enter challengers directly.

>>I asked for medical help after first break of serve in the second set because the calf of my left leg hurt me since the mid of 1st set. It hurt the most while serving. It probably came from the exhaustion from previous matches.

>>I ran out of strenght in the third set, I even made three double faults in one game. Lopez served like top class and yet I managed to brake him twice which could have been enough to take the match. It came to an end when he took my serve in the 3rd set, even if I had chances again, like 15-40 when he served for the match at 5-3.
