Like he heard me. He is 2:1 with a serve. Hope he will win. He would play Levine in the next round.

He won. So, it was 63 46 64. Next one is Jessie Levine.

Re: Second half of season 2012.

Simon pulled out of a tournament, so Cilic surpasssed him on the list. If Gasquet make one round less than Marin, Marin will surpass him too.

Sweet! Next two days will be hot and dry so the ball will have high bounce which will help Marin in all ways, 2nd serve especially. Levine shouldn't be much of a problem. Hopefully Nadal does what's best for him and withdraws.

Yes.
Interesting, if Marin made semis in Toronto he would surpassed Almagro on 12th place. And he had good chance there: Tipsarevic and Granollers. But Tipsarevic had a luck there, play suspended due to rain on the Marin's serve, and when they came back he lost the serve because he lost the rythm. It was same vs Stakhovsky at 4:5 in the 2nd set.

Cinci is also a great chance. He can play against Tipsy (6-2), which can get him to quarters against Djoko, where chances are slim but Djoko might be a bit tired after playing for 3 weeks non stop.

Re: Second half of season 2012.

Gasuet lost, Cilic has good chance to be World's number 13 now.
But if Nishikori make a semis he will need to make quaters to stay 13th.

Re: Second half of season 2012.

He is in good position right now, Raonic and Nishikori are closest to him for rank 13 (apx. 300 pts behind).

Fan list: Cilic, Federer, Coric

P.S. Watch out for Donna Vekic and Borna Coric, 2020. Hopman cup winners. - posted in 2011, let's see if it happens

Re: Second half of season 2012.

Rafa is out of US Open, so Marin will be 12 th seed if somebody doesn't surpass him. If Marin make a 3rd round Nishikori will need to make semis (ferrer, berdych or raonic). If Marin make quaters he will need final (federer). In first case raonic will need final, in other obe title.
All of this doesn't mean nothing if he will pull out JMDP at US Open.

He also just did another common thing for him lately. He had a streak of 5 won games, from 4*:5 down in the first to 7:5, 2:0 up now.

Yes, but he lost the lead like vs Baghdatis. In Umag he would do another break.

Re: Second half of season 2012.

Marin wasted 15:40, 4:4, now he saved SP in TB, 6:6.

EDIT: 8:6. 7:5, 7:6 (5), he won!
