this is too sad! When I saw he had to play a tie break I really thought he could win it and here it is...only 3 points in the tie break...

Re: ☆ Marin Cilic 2008 Cheering Thread { Marseille_Open13 } ☆

I read on Gilles' thread that he is ill.. Considering that he has to defend his title here, if he goes deep into the singles draw he might pull out of doubles

Let's hope not that he'd be okay.

Tight result against top player, that's not bad. Anyone watched the match, were they playing good?

Re: ☆ Marin Cilic 2008 Cheering Thread { Marseille_Open13 } ☆

I was trying to follow the livescores from work. Seems Marin played a good match - in the end it was Misha's greater experience that pulled him through. I don't think Marin has anything to be ashamed of - Misha is a Top 10 player and is playing at a great level right now. All these matches are good experience for Marin, from which he will learn and grow stronger.

Oh sorry, I didn't want to force you to open one - it was more just a stupid way to say "Congrats for the new forum! No video thread yet?!"

Good luck to your boy in doubles, he needs to play well as he sure is the "linchpin" of the team.
