If Soderling is playing you can call the Mossad and Sweden will still win.

Mossad

Dudi Sela is able to win any player in the world (maybe except for Federer and Nadal) specially when he plays in front of his home warm crowd. Ask Gonzo...

Re: 2008 Davis Cup Draw

This is arguably the best draw Argentina has had in recent times...

1st Round: Great Britain at home. (Argentina big favorite).

Quarterfinal: Sweden at home or Israel away. (Argentina big favorite).

Semifinal:

Russia or Belgium at home (Argentina favorite) or Serbia or Czech Rep. away. (But Serbia would have to beat Russia in Moscow to get there and the Czechs would have to beat the Russians or the Serbians in away ties.)

Final:

USA or Spain at home, or France or Germany away.

Who knows? Argentina might play the whole 2008 DC at home, like Spain in 2000.

Well, we did make the finals which isn't bad at all... and next year we will have a better draw. I'm confident... but that really doesn't mean anything since I have been confident in the past editions.

It seems we are going to play some ties at home, which is always good for our chances to win.

It also seems Nalbandian is gaining confidence, Ca˝as is playing fairly well, the Tandil boys (Monaco and Del Potro) are on the rise and Chela has had a good season... I like our chances.

It would be good to have Chucho and el Gordo Calleri available too since they have DC experience.

A final against USA or Spain in Buenos Aires would be awesome.

Dudi Sela at his best is just a mediocre player. The only reason he beat Gonzalez was because Gonzalez was in terrible form, even losing to Gabashvilli at the US Open. Sela should be proud of himself if he manages to take S÷derling or Johansson to a tie break. The Swedes could play with Bj÷rkman and Johansson and still rout the Israelis.

I watched the match... and Sela is a great warrior...
Gonzo won Beijing days before this tie, he wasn`t playing like he did in Australian Open.. but he was playing in his normal form

Sela is not a super-player
but I am sure he will enter in the top50 next year...
you are just underrating him
