Abu Dhabi: Djokovic DESTROYS Federer in 44 minutes 6-2 6-1!

9 games in a row for Djokovic

Only 44 minutes

Djokovic CYGS is possible with this kind of form.

!VamosRafa, you might want to take a look here: Exhibitions Result Threads

"When I'm asked, how is it to be around Federer, and what is he really like, I always reply, "I wish people could meet him when cameras or an audience aren't around, as he is one of the nicest people I have ever met when stringing on tour. " -- drakulie

Dont think he did though. He looked a little pissed there coz Djokovic was going at it seriously and Roger didnt get the kind of practice match he seemed to be hoping for.

Re: Mubadala WTC: Djokovic def. Federer 6-2 6-1

In an exhibition match, it's all a bit of practice and mind games, while staying injury free, providing entertainment for the fans, and earning some money for the display.
One either can send a message, or reveal as little of their game as possible.
Djokovic and Ferrer accomplished the former, Federer and Nadal the latter.

It means nada. Doha and Brisbane will show us a little more, but ideally players want to peak for the slam, not the 250 tournament. If they can win the 250 tournament in the process, all well and good.

Re: Mubadala WTC: Djokovic def. Federer 6-2 6-1

Interesting stat - every time Fed won the AO he did it having lost in the preceding exo, and both times he won the exo (Kooyong in 05 and 09) he failed to win the AO.

So really it means nothing, though as a spectator I would have liked to have seen a bit more effort from him.

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo

Classic MTF, going wild because of an exhibition match

Funny how Fed Fans are downplaying this ownage because it's an exho, so what? we all know Fed would rather die than to lose to Djokovic like this. For Nole is all good practice, he really played freely and very fast. At least he sent a strong message to his competition and the pundits who thought he was already burnt out after his mindblowing season. Nole is going for the Career Slam in 2012, he just said it in an interview. Do you think he can? I KNOW he can. Let's go Nole!

Novak Djokovic nº1!

The Golden Era of Novak: Australian Open * Dubai * Indian Wells * Miami * Belgrade * Madrid * Rome * Wimbledon * Montreal * US Open * Abu Dhabi * Australian Open * Miami * Toronto * China * Shanghai * World Tour Finals 2012 * Australian Open 2013 * Dubai * Montecarlo * Beijing * Shanghai * Paris * WTF * Indian Wells * Miami * Rome * WIMBLEDON 2014 * AUSSIE OPEN 2015
Federer to Nole: "Amazing year. Amazing tournament. Amazing match. You are THE BEST!"

Of course an exo, but good to see Nole wanting to win even an exo

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Maybe we should start including practice matches (or sets) in the official H2H then.

I'm sure Fed didn't want to lose to Roddick at Kooyong 2007, either.

By 'we', do you mean brainless Noletards (most of the Noletards here seem to have fun because when they post seriously they post quite well actually) or are you just imagining it in the hope of it becoming true?
