Re: Mubadala World Tennis Championship

I imagined that only players with Slam Finals could play this tournament.

Rafa doubtful for Abu Dhabi.

First they said his shoulder's been bothering him, now they say he has a virus.

Seriously, how many more injuries and sicknesses is this guy going to have?

I know there's mixed opinions on how Rafa will do in 2012, but I'm of the belief that if he has any success in 2012 at all, it will ONLY be on clay again, like in 2011.

Matches start at 3 pm each day Abu Dhabi time, I myself am EST, EST is 9 hours behind, so it will sadly start around 6 am EST.

Like as you said, this is a exho and Nadal-Federer is way better populer than Djokovic and people wants to watch them, so it's a logical decision. Plus, Nadal and Federer played this event before and they had some touch with this tournament. Djokovic is playing for the first time here.

Re: Mubadala World Tennis Championship

Insanely un-rusty start from Nole, just swinging away though

started with a massive BHDTL.

| Wins over 3+ of the Top 4. Players to reach all slam QFs+ in history. Hawkeye/Line Calls. QFs+ at Slams & Masters, but never Top 20.
Haas / The Fog / Tsonga / Brown / Mahut / Baker / Alund / Fed / Khachanov / Pouille / Tursunov / Copil / Bolelli / Brands / Benneteau / Gojowczyk / Steps / PHM
Rafter / Edberg / Henman / Stich / Safin / Gambill / Grosjean / Malisse / Gonzo / Llodra / Santoro / Agassi / Schalken / Nováček / Rosewall / H-T Lee / Kuerten / Boetsch / Pavel / Sundström / Björkman / Scud / El Aynaoui / Arazi / Calleri / Sampras / Nalbandian / Mosquito / Srichaphan

Re: Mubadala World Tennis Championship

that point at 1-4 15-30 was just absurd

Delightful match this so far...I love watching free swinging Djokovic..his insane ballstriking ability shines through.
Novak is a wonderful exho guy He is hitting so freely, playing some insane points, trying out more attacking stuff and just seems to be here for the fun of it

"In my opinion he's the best player ever. When you play tennis, playing Federer is kind of a dream because you can see he does everything you would love to do on the court" - Fabrice Santoro
