It's one thing for Nadal to ask for/accept a WC in Chennai to play with someone like Salva-Vidal or Rotterdam to play with Coll-Riudavets - both of whom are young guys - than to show up with a non-Canadian retired player in such a big event as the Roger's Cup. Roig/Carbonell may have been a good team, but I doubt Roig ever made such a big impact upon Canadian viewers that they will want to see him.
