How did Quereshi get the lucky loser spot? I thought it went to the highest ranked player that lost in the last round of qualifying. What am I missing? Thanks.

Is for example predefined that the number 1 seed and the number 8 seed are in the some quarter (2 and 7, 3 and 6, 4 and 5) or is it just random. Because I think it is predefined that the number 1 seed and the number 4 seed will clash in the semi-finals as well as the number 2 and 3 seed!
Would be very happy if someone would enlighten me!!
After the 1 and 2 seeds are placed at the top and bottom of the draw, the other seeds are bucketed into groups.

Seeds 3 and 4 in one bucket.
5 to 8 in one bucket
9 to 12 in one bucket
13 to 16 in one bucket
17 to 24 in one bucket
25 to 32 in one bucket

For example there is no added benefit from being a 3 seed or a 4 seed as you can be placed in the top or bottom half of the draw.
Hope that helps.

Re: Main Draw

Because this falls Golubev 160 in the ranking and not Dabul that this 115?
