Great coverage on Friday and Saturday, but the coverage on Sunday is awful on DSF.
Well, it could be decided by saturday night

That's sure I cheer for Paulo too, but I don't think that captain will pick him,and his result isn't better than other Frenchs, but mainly I don't want him to lose in DC again.

You cheer for Hass becoz you hate the captain or you don't like Gas,Seb or others?

I don't hate the captain, Forget is the former French player I prefer. Well, as a captain, I don't like a lot, but it's ok. I don't like Gasquet. Sebastien is the French player I "prefer" with Paulo. I have always liked Tommy even if I'm not an active supporter (too much work with my other players ), and two very good friends are big fans of Tommy, so I'm biased

Regarding Paulo, if France loses, I hope it won't be because of him, he doesn't need that. So, in that case, hope he won't play.

Paulo's head to head against Haas is 2-0 ... just to let you know

I don't want him to loose again aswell especially in the decisive match...
if he doesn't play he won't loose for sure, but he won't win either... What a statement!
Then, I would like him to play one match and win it. But, I know that's hopeless...

But, Tommy is in a very good shape at the moment, and very confident, so it will be complicated for the two French who will face him.

Yes, you are absolutely right, if he doesnt play, he can't win
If he plays instead of Gasquet, would be great

Yes and I prefer him not to be picked this time, that will bring him a lot of pressure esp in DC and people keep emphasizing him "Choker" if he loses.
I hope they all will be beaten in day 1 and Clement will lose his double match.

France not picking Monfils will hurt them dearly in this tie. Germany wins 4-1.

Actually, I think the fact they didn't pick Santoro will hurt them (us? ) more.
And yes, I think of the same score for Germany

Re: World Group 1st Round - Germany vs France, Halle

Note that Kiefer is 0-8 against the "good" (top50?) players in Daviscup. In all his wins he was the big favourite.

But two weeks ago he also won his first GS quarterfinal, so maybe now it's time for his best Daviscup win.

their confidence will be very good. Sometimes, you are not the best player but if you are confident, you can win. And, I think Kiefer can win his matches with the confidence he gained in Australia

Yep. Monfils would have been risky because he has no DC experience (yet).

I actually think it could even be 5-0.
