World Group Quarterfinals (July 15-17, 2005)

The ITF has announced the team nominations for the quarterfinals of the 2005 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group and 20 Zonal ties to be played on 15-17 July. Some team nominations are still to be confirmed and will appear on www.daviscup.com as soon as they are available.

Live scoring for all World Group ties will be available on the Davis Cup
website throughout the weekend.

It's too bad Schalken, Verkerk and Van Lottum can't play for Holland due to injuries. Slovak Republic should win this. But we pray for Sluiter en Van Scheppingen.
Australia will defeat Argentina on grass. Croatia en Russia will also win.

Wassen is a very good player for the doubles. This battle will be decided in the singles. I'm afraid Hrbaty en Beck are the better player on this surface.
