How many times must we of shot nerves witness the undoubted pain & suffering of muppets everywhere before we stand up against the cavemen??

No way should they drop him from the team. Who would they have in his place anyway. Maybe they should give either Tommy or Rafa the chance to play one of the singles matches but they shouldn't drop him.

I don't think the Spanish team would ever drop him from the team, even if it is just for principle's sake. The only reason they wouldn't include him is if he were injured, like in Brno this year

I will eat my tennis racket if they drop him out of the team.

Re: Juan Carlos Ferrero - In Or Out?

they can't leave him out of the team, he's too good, too talented, too skillful, too perfect to be left out of the team. If they leave him out the spanish team captain better watch out.

With Nadal's form.. he might be dropped. But I think he will play in the first day anyways.

Re: Juan Carlos Ferrero - In Or Out?

He'll play on day one. I was calling for them to remove him from the semis, but I've changed my mind. As long as his body is fit they should play him. I don't necessarily think that they should play him on day 3, though. Besides, if they don't play Ferrero then they will have to play Rafa on day one or else face the prospect of a Robredo-Roddick matchup

Of the three, I like Ferrero against Roddick in these conditions the best. I'm not saying that Rafa couldn't do it, but I think they should save him for doubles and a possible fifth rubber.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Re: Juan Carlos Ferrero - In Or Out?

I doubt they w drop him too but what he needs is to stop playing the next 2 tourneys... he won't do anything anyway... and go home and prepare for the DC F... make it his only priority now for this year, just like Lleyton did last yr... SPAIN needs all the help it can get and they must win at home on clay to US or it will end in tears... mostly fr the fans...

Re: Juan Carlos Ferrero - In Or Out?

I actually agree with you Rebecca, I guess even though he's been off ,he's still probably better choice than Nadal and Robredo for the 1st day.I really hope he will justify it...but it doesn't seem an easy task for the captain, thats for sure.
