Re: Tennis Tipping #41c - Rennes - Join me in my first managing experience!!
First of all I just wanted to say that it has been an absolute pleasure to manage this game. It was a real eye-opener to the tactics that people are employing. Watching the action behind the scenes was really interesting. Just when I thought that the game was headed in one direction, it flipped right on its head. I will definitely be doing this again, and I suggest others do the same!
Most Valuable Player award
Pretty obviously, the MVP of the game is the Unbiased Analyst, Edy.. Went way out on a limb twice to analyze mods on days 2 and 3. His selection of orangehat on Night 3 was the turning point up of the game. Special shout out to orangehat who, along with randy, came up with the plan to vote out their fellow mod, buji, on Day 2. At the time, I'd venture to say no one suspected either of them for mods. No one except for Edy.. How he came to the decision to analyze orangehat, I'll never know. But whatever it was he saw, he took action and the arseclowns came out victorious at the end of it.
I'm reluctant to call this the Least Valuable Player award, so I'll call it the:
God Bless Him, At Least He Tried award
Poor Diadochi. He really was out of his league here. The mods never did meet up with him, so when the mod team was eliminated, he was forced to handle banning duties on his own. His inexperience definitely showed when he tried banning Pratik, who all but role-claimed that he was Hiding Playertard, and then followed that up by trying to ban Delusionalist., the Clutch Player on his next night. There were definitely more obvious targets that he should have banned, but even if he had made every move right, he was going to be really hard-pressed to win it for the mods. I hope this doesn't deter him from playing in future games though. He's gotten a trial by fire, so next game he should have a better handle on the strategy required to succeed.
Honourable mention for LVP goes to two clowns that basically had their rolls reduced to that of tard. Abollo, the negrepper, was stripped of his abilities on night one, before he had any chance to make an impact with his extra vote. He was a trooper though. Every night but one he placed his vote, knowing full well that he had probably been stripped. (I wasn't aware of the rule that I had to inform him of being stripped) Also an honourable mention to Sony, the Double Account. He didn't use his gun until night 4, but he made the mistake of trying to shoot the Hiding Playertard, losing the only bullet in his arsenal. Give the guy credit as well though. He kept trying to pull that trigger and hoping beyond hope that a new bullet would fall right into his hands. At one point I suggested he try just throwing his gun at someone, but seems his aim was as poor as his shot.
That's all I got. Thanks again for making this such an enjoyable experience. Looking forward to going back to kicking ass and taking names in the next game.
