Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Seppi winning in Doha, strange times indeed. Good win over Kubot 6-2 6-3 plays either Andujar or GGL next.

“ On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Why is this thread so quiet?

After retiring against Haas in 1st round of Dallas challenger, Andreas is playing MS event in Miami this week.
He has drawn a qualifier in the 1st round, if he wins then he plays Simon next.

FORZA!

Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Andreas unfortunately lost to the qualifier, Roberto Bautista-Agut, 1-6 6-3 3-6. With this result, Andy is officially 6-10 on the season, with his best results being QFs in Doha and Rotterdam. His record is more or less what is usually is by this point of the season so hopefully he can put together consistently good performance on European clay. His next scheduled event is in Monte Carlo in three weeks, so he will have time off now to fully recharge his batteries and prepare for the clay season. GL to Andreas in Monte Carlo!

Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Pretty disappointing start, but his main focus should be on European clay, so hopefully it will get better in a few weeks.

Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Won his R1 but predictably lost to Djokovic. His aim seems to be just to stay top 50 this year I think.

Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Second title for Andy winning in straight sets. He liked Belgrade before and can see him returning again.

“ On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
