Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

First round draw is quite good as long as he is fit. Probably go out in the 2nd round to Bellucci.

All Italian Players

Especially Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini

Juan Martin Del Potro

Roger Federer

Thomas Berdych

Fernando Verdasco

Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

It's winnable. H2H is 1-1. Gabashvili won easily in 2009 in their latest meeting. A lot will depend on Andreas' match toughness and fitness. Also Gaba is defending R4 points so he will be motivated. His R2 is tough but also somewhat winnable too, but first things first for Andreas, has to win R1.

Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Solid win against Gabashvili, now he plays winner of either Golubev or Bellucci.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Yes a very nice win given Gabashvili's run last year in this event. Well done and hopefully he will give his next opponent (probably Bellucci) another tough time.

Played shit in the last 2 sets but won all that counts.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Lost to Stepanek in the QF 75 64. No real surprise, but good he got the extra matches this week and I think this could lift him back in the top 50.

Just made a few mistakes at the wrong times. Steps is a tough guy to play.

I'm almost crying of happiness.

He left his beard this week, probably some kind of superstition. I hope he shaves it off, because I don't like beards too much.

What can he do at Wimby? Montanes sounds beatable and then Baggy/Blake.
A potencial 3rd round meeting with Djoković. But I doubt it...
