Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Seppi likes Belgrade, hope he can actually win 2 matches in a row.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Andreas lost 4-6 6-2 5-7 in Belgrade to Gasquet in the second round. He had his chances, but unfortunately he didn't play aggressively at the end, and Gasquet took the match away from his grasp. He made the finals last year at this event and will fall out of the top 50 with this loss.

He will be playing next week in Madrid, let's hope he has a return of good fortune in Spain!

Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Here is Andy's section at Madrid:

Isner - Q5
Kohlschreiber - Q6
Q7 - Seppi
Bye - Nadal

First round is clearly winnable, but unfortunately the raging bull is awaiting for him in the second round. Hopefully he can win his first round match and come out of Madrid with at least one victory.

Good luck in Spain, Andreas!

Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Dolgopolov is the qualifier that drew Andreas and they will play today, as the 3rd match on the second stadium court. Dolgo is coming off an almost 3 1/2 hour match, so he should be tired and he is coming off an injury in his last tournament as well. This is a good opportunity for a win for Andy, hopefully he takes advantage of the opportunity.
