Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Seppi is in the Cincy qualies and he has a good chance to make it through.

(ALT) FALLA, Alejandro COL v DLOUHY, Lukas CZE
CILIC, Marin CRO v (10) SEPPI, Andreas ITA

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Andy defeats Cilic 6-7 6-3 6-2. He was up a break in the 1st and lost it in a TB, but showed good mental strength to bounce back and win it in the end, though he had to save 2 bps in the last game.

Time to take revenge on Falla.

Andy is playing qualies at New Haven and he didn't get an easy section, though I hope I am able to get someone I like through this section.

(3) SEPPI, Andreas ITA v WOLMARANS, Fritz RSA
GABASHVILI, Teimuraz RUS v GULBIS, Ernests LAT
CAPKOVIC, Kamil SVK v ROGER-VASSELIN, Edouard FRA
LUCZAK, Peter AUS v (6) HORNA, Luis PER

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: The Official Andreas Seppi Cheering Thread

Andy won 7-6 6-1 and will now play Gabashvili who saved 6 match points in his match against Gulbis and he beat him already this year in Monte Carlo qualies.

Andy lost to Gabashvili 7-6(13) 4-6 7-5 in just under 3 hours, and this was a tough 2nd round qualie match for sure and he only converted 1/11 break points, whereas Gabash was 1/8 and sadly that 1 was in the 3rd set.

Any thing can happen at the US Open, it depends on the draw.

Winnable 1st rounder for Seppi, but we'll see.

Andy and Verdasco lost in the doubles and now he can go play a challenger and then to Bucharest.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

My Pics of Andy from the US Open

He played a very poor match against Calleri, his shots were often landing in the net, he had no feelings for the shots it seems. His serve was the only thing that was working... he played better as the match went on, but it wasnt enough.
