Well Saturday was a good day in Recanato for Bracciali and Sanguinetti as both go through rto face each other in the semi.

Volandri went out in 3 to Coria but an improved week from him.

i carn't believe what has happened to potito, he definantly has the talent to be a top 100 player maybe even top 50. I don't expect di mauro and aldi to be top 100 players but of the italian youd expect

Volandri, Sanguinetti, Seppi, Bracciali, Starace

Re: Italian Tennis

Also Bolelli on the way to top 100, probably about 1 year yet.

Di Mauro just lost to Chadaj in 3 but Starace has won against Koubek. Get to the QF Potito.

Re: Italian Tennis

Good win for Volandri over Kubot (lost just 4 games) and now he faces Mayer in round 2. Winnable but tough still.

Re: Italian Tennis

Seppi played last week but went out in round 1. This week must be a rest week.

Volandri went out to Mayer in straigts today so he is still not near his best, but a great win for Potito over Moya in 3. This is a big win for him and now he enters the quarter v Acasuso. Please beat him Starace. Then you can go to the semi-final for the first time this year

Re: Italian Tennis

Potito beat Moya
Daniele won not only singles but also doubles in Segovia
He works now very hard...

BTW Seppi played last week in Kitzbühel and unfortunately lost against Verdasco in the 1st round.
This weekend he will play in the Qualy in Montreal, I think. (???)

Re: Italian Tennis

hopefully potito beats monfils, he needed to do well this week, semi-finals is great but it would be fantastic if he can make the final and win his first ever tournament.

Re: Italian Tennis

Starace lost to Monfils in 3 but Potito gains 50 pts from this event and will move up the rankings significantly. Possibly not top 100 though. Bracciali also lost in the semi of Segovia challenger.

Seppi lost in Montreal quali but Sanguinetti won
