Re: Gianluigi Quinzi

Whoops. Sborowitz is a tough player and three years older. Great week, though.

Re: Gianluigi Quinzi

I think its clear that against the players 3 years older or more, Quinzi will struggle to play more than 1 tough match in a week at the moment. Conditioning obviously comes with the older he gets, he will be able to last longer playing in weeks like this.

Lost in USO Qualies Was the third seed.
But he's so young. I will forgive him this.

Re: Gianluigi Quinzi

Playing in a G1 tournament in Colombia this week. I guess that means he is skipping the junior of the AO.

He won his first round 64 62 against a lucky loser and will face Escobar in the final 32.

Re: Gianluigi Quinzi

Good luck. Maybe it's only the second or even my first post here. I just want to see italian tennis rise. Never really understood why Italy has no top 10ers.

* You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to LawrenceOfTennis again *

Wise decision to ship Australian Open after all. He's still very young, and it's better to fly down for the moment.

Re: Gianluigi Quinzi

Won in 3. I appreciate his attitude on court, he acts like a senior

Best '96 guy by far.

Looking forward to see him in RG, he should really do alot of damage there, seeing his results on clay.

Re: Gianluigi Quinzi

Signs of a bright future. Would be fantastic to see a new italian star. But let's not hurry, he has still much to learn. Many more years to learn and probably won't be easy at all. I don't know much about tennis academies in Italy, but he surely has a big support now by the federation.
