Matteo Trevisan

With him improving as a tennis player now, I think its time for his own thread.

This week he has reached the SF of Trani Challenger with some nice wins against Peter Luczak, Alessio Di Mauro and Daniele Giorgini.

The first round especially s very impressive win. Should be entering the top 300. His aim must be to be near the top 100 next season.

All Italian Players

Especially Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini

Juan Martin Del Potro

Roger Federer

Thomas Berdych

Fernando Verdasco

Re: Matteo Trevisan

Another QF this week in a challenger event in Brasov, Romania. So steady progress now at the minute. For sure he has done much better than Fabbiano this season.

Re: Matteo Trevisan

In Napoi challenger Trevisan just beat Munoz-De La Nava 76 67 61 to go to the QF. Its about time he and Fabbiano started being more consistent on Challenger tour otherwise they will not be the top 100 players I thought at least 1 could be.

Re: Matteo Trevisan

Huge win in a very tough 1st round of Bergamo qualies against Fabbiano, but now in trouble against Dubail. I wonder if he will ever get back on track

Re: Matteo Trevisan

wins Italy F6, climbs up to around 512-514 in the rankings. slowly coming back but seems like hard work is starting to pay off.

tough to believe and swallow the fact that he was almost inside the top 250 as a 20 y.o. but with headcases and injury prone players like Matteo, this happens!!

unfortunate draw next week in Roma.

Re: Matteo Trevisan

as long as he can remain fit and healthy, 100% yes. he's too talented not to... big things and climbing ahead if he manages to play the full calendar.
