Flávio Saretta gave his condolences about Luzzi's death as well, in his blog. Here's the translation of the part he wrote about it:
"I've been reflecting a lot the last days. Last saturday a guy who used to play tennis with me died, an Italian with the same age as me (Federico Luzzi), he used to play all the junior tournaments with me. He wasn't a big "brother" of mine, but he was a guy which every time I met with him I laughed, he was always saying funny stuff, a good player, he was at the top 100 once. well, he went from this to another... fulminant leukemia! He entered the court to play on Sunday, left it because of a fever, went to the doctor, it seemed like a flu or something, nothing serious, in 3 days he didn't handle it and died. He was 28 years old, I've been with him in these last 2 weeks of tournaments in Europe. My God, this is terrible, then I wonder myself: who are us? what's this all about?
MAY YOU REST IN PEACE FEDERICO LUZZI! I'M SURE YOUR WAY IS OF HAPPINESS BROTHER!! NAMASTE FLAVIO"
